Christian Jodin

Christian Jodin is a French artist born in 1970. In 1992 he obtained a degree in visual arts at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, where he studied engraving, mosaic, sculpture, painting and lithography. He then worked as an engraver at the Paris Mint. From 1993 he devoted himself entirely to his personal work. It tries through the fragmentation of the subject, to reinvent a certain aesthetic with the repetition of the same motif, between contemporaneity and primitivism. He calls this technique "pictorial zapping".
